our sonnets

After reading about the structure of the italian sonnet ,comparing it to the Elizabethen one, the team has written their own poems which have been posted on the project blog

here is Antonio's sonnet about Nature

Oh Nature…

Oh nature, if you appeared in a human skin

surely you’d be a lovely lady

and loving your beauty wouldn’t be a sin

you are pure, a light in something shady

You are wrongly defined as wild

I know that you are harmonic as an old sage

and innocent and uncovered like a child

How can you provoke a damage?

Oh nature, the landscapes are your beauty

the living beings are your wealth

the balance defence is your duty

and your life is our health.

Maybe that we are your doom

but I know that you will revive soon.
